Also claims to have introduced the Stump Jump Plough in 1881,someone else reaped the benefit. (The Stump-Jump Plough was invented by R B Smith in 1876 - See Australia's Little Cornwall, by Oswald Prior, page 180. - DG). TC 12. 1.1889 Wins contract to supply 20 railway wagons at L97-10/-. The premises will be enlarged considerably, and more hands will be required. TC 2. 2.1889 More about this contract. He also has a very good Wheelwright, Mr Walls. TC 23.11.1889 Commercial Rd presents a very animated appearance as Mr Treloar has finished six trucks. A large croud watch them being conveyed to the Railway Station. Treloar has been put to considerable expense with this contract both in setting up his premises and also because of alterations to the specifications. TC 24. 1.1891 Gives up the Brass Band leadership after 10 years. TC 17.10.1891 Will present at 100- voice choir Cantata.
