BA 12.10.1934 After nine months of prospecting, R Michael and A Dyer, who have been working west of the old Tarnagulla lead, had their patience rewarded some days ago when they found a reef six inches wide carrying high gold values. Although little work has so far been done on the formation, L500 worth of gold has already been taken from the claim. One lump of almost pure gold, seven inches long, weighs 11 ounces, while other nuggets found are 3 ounces and 2 ounces 11 dwts. The lucky prospectors were prospecting the alluvial quartz leader associated with an indicator at the time of the discovery, which was made at at depth of 22 feet.
