Last page of will of Job Hawkins, quartz miner of Sandy Creek, dated 20 February 1860, appointing Eli Summers, Thomas King and David Hatt as Executors. Albert Summers and Henry Brougham Anderson (of the Bank) witnessed. Affidavit dated 31 July 1860 states Deceased died "about" the 11th of June 1860 and left property believed to be valued not greater than "five to ten thousand pounds". Will leaves main part of estate to an unnamed daughter in England.
