Yorkshire Mine, Tarnagulla, 2014

This is the concrete foundation of a very large water wheel-like structure which the company used to elevate the crushed quartz for transportation to the cyanide plant.
The foundation also dates from 1904, at the time of construction of the new crushing battery.
