Laanecoorie Weir, 1909, Illustrating the Collapsed Bank.

Torrential rains caused the Laanecoorie Weir to give way, with the result that a huge volume of water carried all before it down the river. The Laanecoorie bridge was swept away and the countryside flooded for miles downstream, especially on the east side of the river at Newbridge.
